The Opportunity
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly experienced Senior Manager to join our Asset Management team. This is a pivotal, high-impact role where you will be the architect of our new Margin Financing and Lending business line, driving its development from conception to full-scale operation.
In addition to building this new venture, you will take ownership of our existing Earn channel products, optimizing their structure and expanding their reach. The ideal candidate is a strategic builder with a deep background in traditional brokerage products and a passion for the digital asset space. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our asset offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business & Product Development:
- Spearhead the end-to-end strategy, design, and launch of the firm’s Margin Financing and Lending business.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify commercial opportunities and formulate go-to-market strategies.
- Actively lead business development initiatives, forging strategic partnerships and cultivating a robust client pipeline.
- Oversee the product lifecycle for our Earn channel, negotiating with stakeholders and counterparties to enhance product structures and profitability.
- Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Serve as the key liaison between the Asset Team and critical control functions, including Legal, Compliance, and Finance, to ensure all products are robust, compliant, and operationally sound.
- Foster deep collaboration with other business units within the group (e.g., HashKey Capital, Tokenisation, HashKey Chain) to unlock synergies and drive integrated product solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience within the financial services industry, with a mandatory background in managing Margin Financing products at a licensed securities brokerage in Hong Kong.
- Demonstrable expertise in and a strong passion for the crypto, blockchain, and digital asset industry.
- Full professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is essential.
- Proven track record as a self-starter with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a strong compliance-first mindset and the agility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
