Hong Kong, Jul. 21, 2026 — HashKey Holdings Limited (“HashKey” or the “Company”, Stock Code: 3887.HK), a leading comprehensive digital asset company in Asia, announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with South Korea’s Kbank and BPMG Group. This partnership is focused on development and technical implementation of digital asset business models. It is a key milestone for HashKey’s “Asia Connect” strategy in the South Korean market, marking a further step in the Group’s efforts to connect major Asian digital asset markets and to drive the synergy of regional financial infrastructure. The collaobaration aims to further accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation financial infrastructure.
South Korea is one of the world’s most vibrant digital asset markets. As a leading internet bank in South Korea, Kbank serves approximately 16 million customers and possesses deep user insights and service experience in the digital finance sector. BPMG is a major technological force in the South Korean blockchain and AI space, having previously collaborated with Kbank on a proof-of-concept for KRW (Korean Won) stablecoin-based cross-border payments in Thailand and the UAE. By joining forces, HashKey Group will leverage its deep expertise in compliant digital asset infrastructure, synergizing with Kbank’s banking and financial service capabilities and BPMG’s technological strengths to jointly explore the application of KRW stablecoins in areas including cross-border payments and trade settlement.
Under the proposed cooperation, HashKey Group will draw on its institutional network service capabilities and industry insights to facilitate ecosystem connections with traditional financial institutions and digital asset service providers, supporting the design and implementation of digital asset business models. Kbank will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the compliance and feasibility of these innovative business models within the South Korean financial environment. BPMG, through its US subsidiary ARACORE, will lead the business cooperation, primarily providing technical support and building the underlying payment and settlement infrastructure based on stablecoins. The three companies will work closely together to jointly expand into the global digital asset market.
HashKey Group has long been committed to building an interconnected Asian digital asset infrastructure by fully leveraging its core advantages in its global licensing and regulatory footprint, institutional-grade digital asset services, and cross-jurisdictional operations. Currently, the Group has established deep business partnerships in regions including the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the UAE (Dubai). This MOU will further strengthen the Group’s connection with South Korean financial and technological institutions by laying the foundation for expanding Asian cross-border payment, settlement, and digital asset service use cases.
Moving forward, HashKey Group will continue to provide regional institutional users with more efficient, transparent, cost-effective, and compliant digital asset settlement solutions, truly driving next-generation digital financial infrastructure from vision to reality.
