Hong Kong, Aug. 17, 2026 — HashKey Holdings Limited (3887.HK), a comprehensive Asian digital asset group，announced that its licensed trading platform, HashKey Exchange, has entered into a partnership with digital asset insurer OneDegree’s commercial insurance arm OneInfinity to jointly expand the commercial and financial application scenarios for HKDAP, a regulated Hong Kong Dollar-backed stablecoin. HashKey Exchange and OneInfinity had previously established an extensive collaboration to provide insurance coverage for users’ virtual assets. This partnership further extends their business synergy into the stablecoin ecosystem.
As HashKey officially becomes a major authorized distributor for the Hong Kong Dollar stablecoin HKDAP, HashKey and OneInfinity will leverage this innovative financial infrastructure to jointly drive the implementation of real-world application scenarios. HashKey Exchange will provide compliant conversion services between HKDAP and fiat currencies for eligible users. Building on the technology services operational needs of AIFT Group (parent company of OneDegree), the two partners also plan to explore the use of HKDAP for selected cross-border business payment and settlement scenarios. HashKey MENA can facilitate conversions between Hong Kong Dollar (HKDAP), US Dollar (USD), and United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), connecting local commercial insurance premium payments in Hong Kong with cross-border transactions involving the Middle East. The companies are also exploring the potential use of HKDAP in commercial insurance premium payments in Hong Kong.
