HashKey Launches Hong Kong’s First 24/7 FX Conversion on a Licensed Platform

Hong Kong, Dec. 18, 2025 — HashKey Exchange, Hong Kong’s leading licensed virtual asset trading platform, today announced the launch of its 24/7 (24 hours and 7 days a week) FX Conversion Service that enables instant USD–HKD conversions. This marks the first time a licensed virtual asset platform in Hong Kong has offered round-the-clock fiat currency conversion to both retail and institutional clients, which mirrors the continuous liquidity characteristic of crypto markets.
USD–HKD conversion has traditionally been restricted to banking hours, which leaves institutions unable to hedge overnight and retail users unable to move funds promptly without relying on slower, less efficient channels. With the introduction of 24/7 FX Conversion, HashKey Exchange will process conversion requests at any time. It allows users to exchange funds without waiting for banks to reopen or resort to manual workarounds.
As a licensed platform, HashKey Exchange conducts all FX transactions with real-time monitoring in place. This ensures that round-the-clock conversions remain as safe and compliant as those carried out during regular trading hours.
