Hong Kong, Aug. 30, 2023 – HashKey Exchange, the licensed retail virtual asset exchange in Hong Kong, and imToken, a well-established non-custodial crypto wallet, estbalished a strategic partnership aiming to deeply integrate non-custodial wallets with compliant fiat deposit and withdrawal services, leveraging the strengths of both Web2 and Web3, to jointly promote the “Trusted and Trustless” Web3 ecosystem for secure asset management.
Web3 operates in a decentralized manner through incentives, and economic mechanisms, making it ‘trustless,’ meaning users don’t have to rely on any third parties. In contrast, Web2 provides the possibility of using ‘trusted’ third-party services in areas where Web3 has not yet entered. HashKey Exchange and imToken are working together to advance this vision.
In the “Trusted and Trustless” service, HashKey Exchange will provide imToken users with a trusted and compliant trading platform, while imToken will serve as the official non-custodial wallet in partnership with HashKey Exchange, enabling users to manage and trade virtual assets more easily and independently.
