Hong Kong, Apr. 11, 2024 \u2013 HashKey Capital, one of the largest institutional digital asset managers in the blockchain space, is excited to announce that the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong has granted an upgrade to its licensing conditions which previously restricted HashKey Capital Limited from serving retail investors, through a waiver of HashKey Capital Limited\u2019s \u2018professional investors only\u2019 licensing condition.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/div>

As one of the first virtual asset management firms to receive such a notable licensing upgrade, this approval paves the way for HashKey Capital Limited to manage virtual asset investment products that may be offered to retail investors, subject to securing the requisite product authorisations from the SFC. This highlights HashKey\u2019s frontrunning position in regulatory compliance and investor protection within the virtual asset industry.<\/span><\/p><\/div>
