HashKey Exchange Signs MOU with HATA to Deepen Expansion in Southeast Asia

Hong Kong, Oct. 14, 2025 — HashKey Exchange, Hong Kong’s largest* licensed virtual asset exchange, announced today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HATA, Malaysia’s leading licensed digital asset exchange. This partnership marks a significant step in HashKey Exchange’s Southeast Asia strategy and aims to deliver a secure and transparent framework of digital asset services for regional users.
According to the MOU, HashKey Exchange and HATA will leverage their respective strengths in Hong Kong and Malaysia to explore a multi-dimensional collaboration in the Southeast Asian market, focusing on areas including technology, regulations, user experience, and business model innovation. Specifically, the partners will evaluate API connectivity and system integration to boost efficiency and market liquidity. The collaboration will also involve a joint study of regulatory frameworks in jurisdictions like Hong Kong and Malaysia to ensure a compliant and robust operating model. These efforts are aimed at optimizing trading experiences for investors across Southeast Asia, alongside a push to develop diverse business models that support the region's sustainable market growth.
