Hong Kong, Apr. 9, 2025 – The HKU Business School and HashKey Group have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership aimed at driving the integration of Web3 technologies and virtual assets into academic research and education.
Under this collaboration, the two parties will explore the use of cryptocurrency payments and promote the application of blockchain technology in areas such as course certification and academic record management. The partnership also includes the development of the Web3 Research Hub, designed to foster theoretical innovation and commercial transformation of virtual assets within the fields of finance and economics.
The initiative will further support knowledge sharing, research collaboration, and practical implementation of blockchain and virtual assets in financial and economic disciplines, creating a holistic ecosystem that connects industry, academia, and research.
