Job Description:

As a Trade Operations Specialist, you will support the OPT trading desk by ensuring smooth trade execution, reconciliation, and settlement. You will collaborate with internal teams and external parties to maintain efficient operations and enhance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Support: Assist with trade reconciliation, settlement, and related operational tasks for the OPT trading desk.

• Fund Operations: Conduct fund operations and settlement checks to ensure accurate and timely transactions.

• Settlement & Reconciliation: Liaise with Treasury and external parties on fund transfers and settlements; perform routine reconciliation.

• Ad-hoc Requests: Address urgent trade settlement and funding transfer requests from the trading desk.

• Process Improvement: Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks; enhance trade operations processes.

• System Enhancement: Work with the Product team to improve system infrastructure and controls.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years in trade operations, with expertise in trade settlement, clearing, and reconciliation.

• Financial Background: Strong experience in back-office operations within a financial institution.

• Audit/Internal Audit: Experience in audit, internal audit, or reconciliation is required.

• Blockchain Experience (Preferred): Knowledge of blockchain technology is a plus.

• Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, strong communication, and ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment.
