HashKey Group supports the establishment of the Project Ensemble Architecture Community and Hong Kong's forward-looking exploration of financial innovation. The Group will integrate its practical experience in virtual asset custody, trading, digital payments, STO solutions and RWA tokenisation to deliver comprehensive Web3 infrastructure support for the tokenisation of various financial assets, including bank deposits and green bonds.
Dr. Xiao Feng, Chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, said: "In the Web3 new economy, CBDC, based on distributed ledger technology, essentially represents the digital form of cash, facilitating interconnectivity between traditional and Web3 financial markets. The HKMA's wCBDC Project Ensemble initially focus on the use cases of tokenised deposits and tokenised asset transactions, further researching the value brought by the programmability and atomic settlement of digital assets.
