Haiyang Ru is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the HashKey Exchange Business Group and Hash Blockchain Limited. He also serves as an Executive Director at Hash Blockchain Limited.
Prior to joining HashKey Group, Mr. Ru held the position of Deputy General Manager at Alipay, a subsidiary of Ant Group. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing and maintaining banking relationships with over 500 financial institutions, including all systemically important banks, and overseeing the flow of funds of Yu’e Bao subscriptions and redemptions, MYbank deposit products, and microfinancing solutions offered through the payment platform. In addition, he previously held key senior management roles at renowned internet companies such as KE Holdings (Beike) and Meituan-Dianping. Earlier in his career, he served as a project leader at the globally prestigious consulting firm Boston Consulting Group.
Mr. Ru holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Fudan University and a Master's degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Formation of HashKey Exchange BG
HashKey Exchange Business Group ("HashKey Exchange BG") was established in March 2025 as a new business unit under the HashKey Group. Its creation aligns with the HashKey Group’s strategic vision of combining a global structure with locally licensed operations, unified standards, and integrated management while preserving independent performance accountability. HashKey Exchange BG was formed to facilitate the Group’s global expansion and multi-jurisdictional licensing strategy, enabling streamlined cross-border collaboration and operational efficiencies without compromising local compliance.
HashKey Exchange BG specifically ensures that only properly licensed entities – including Hash Blockchain Limited (operator of HashKey Exchange), HashKey Bermuda Limited (operator of HashKey Global), and HashKey MENA FZE (operator of HashKey MENA) – conduct regulated activities within their respective markets, with each business unit maintaining independent management.
HashKey Exchange BG serves as a strategic framework that strengthens global oversight while rigorously maintaining compliance with all local regulatory requirements, supporting the Group’s expansion into new jurisdictions without compromising operational integrity or regulatory adherence.
