Job Summary

As a part of the compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all relevant MAS and AML/CFT regulations and compliance in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support on the conduct of the company’s business in a manner that complies with the applicable rules, regulations and regulatory expectations promulgated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, in particular on AML/CFT issues raised by business and operations departments and maintain smooth communication.

• Assist with the development, drafting and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures covering the company’s requirements, applicable regulations and recommended best practices.

• Assist in the creation and conduct/implementation of compliance training programs.

• Review and advise on marketing materials and external communications for compliance with regulatory restrictions and standards.

• Assist with regulatory examinations, audits and inquiries.

• Assist with the analysis of new laws, regulations and guidelines and formulate practical solutions for implementation of regulatory requirements and issues.

• Collaborate with business, legal, risk and other teams across the company on new initiatives and projects.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of compliance, legal, regulatory, or audit experience in regulated financial institutions/service providers.

• Experience in the Securities & Futures Act, Payment Services Act, Financial Advisers Act as well as their subsidiary legislations including MAS notices and guidelines.

• MAS compliance regulations

• Bachelors’ Degree in business, finance, accountancy, law or any relevant field of study.

• ACAMS/ICA certification will be a plus.

• Proactive, good team player, detail oriented.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to communicate effectively and confidently, and to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
