Position Overview
Identify and develop global client relationships, generate sales leads, and establish strategic partnerships. Role focuses on extensive client outreach, constant communication, and resource connection to position yourself as a trusted advisor to clients in the cryptocurrency space.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive global business development through proactive outreach and strategic client relationship management across international markets
- Maintain 24/7 communication flow with clients, sharing market movements, significant events, industry news, and ecosystem insights before clients request them
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of product offerings and end-to-end business processes to serve as an effective problem solver rather than merely a messenger
- Collaborate closely with onboarding teams and trading desk to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth client experience
- Travel extensively to meet clients in person and represent the firm at industry events globally
- Connect clients with valuable resources, opportunities, and potential partners within the ecosystem
- Employ strategic approaches to establish yourself as clients' trusted advisor and valued strategic partner
- Demonstrate strong P&L accountability and revenue-generation focus
- Develop deep understanding of clients' business models and strategic objectives
- Identify new market opportunities and potential client segments
- Record all client interactions and partnership developments
- Track regulatory developments affecting cryptocurrency markets across global jurisdictions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science or related field
- Native proficiency in English
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal)
- Understanding of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology
- Mastery of product offerings and operational workflows from onboarding through trading execution
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to build deep client trust
- Ability to translate complex market information into strategic insights for partners
- Commercial acumen with focus on revenue opportunities
- Demonstrated patience and persistence in relationship development
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate complex operational challenges
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and maintain availability for urgent client needs
- High tolerance for frequent global travel
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through capabilities
Preferred
- 1-5 years experience in financial services, business development or cryptocurrency industry
- Personal cryptocurrency trading experience
- Experience at investment banks, brokerages or crypto-related trading institutions
- Established network within the cryptocurrency ecosystem
- Knowledge of traditional financial products and institutional workflows
- Familiarity with crypto market structure and key global participants
- Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
- Additional language proficiencies advantageous
