Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Operations Manager to oversee and manage the operational activities of our company. This role involves leading fund-related accounting, financial reporting, and compliance processes for both primary and secondary market funds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund operations, accounting, and financial management, with experience in the digital asset industry being a plus.
The Fund Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of all fund operations while working closely with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Fund Operations Management: Oversee and manage all fund operational activities, including capital calls, distributions, and NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
· Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Lead fund-related accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting for primary and secondary market funds, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal policies, and reporting standards, maintaining proper documentation and controls.
· Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the key point of contact for auditors, fund administrators, custodians, and other external stakeholders to facilitate fund reporting, audits, and operational processes.
· Cash Flow & Risk Management: Monitor and manage fund cash flows, forecasting, and risk exposure, providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
· Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to fund operations workflows to enhance efficiency, automation, and risk mitigation.
· Team Leadership & Training: Supervise junior team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to support their professional development.
· Ad-Hoc Support: Address operational challenges and lead problem-solving initiatives to support the overall growth and efficiency of fund operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
· Minimum 8 to10 years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, or accounting, preferably in financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity, or crypto funds.
· Strong knowledge of fund structures, financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and accounting principles. Experience with fund accounting software and financial systems is preferred.
· Experience in digital assets, blockchain technology, or crypto fund operations is a strong advantage.
· Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management frameworks for fund operations.
· Strong ability to analyze financial data, solve operational challenges, and provide strategic insights.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, investors, and external service providers.
