Over the past decade, HashKey Group has established a solid compliance foundation across major financial hubs, holding licenses in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Bermuda and Dubai, with VASP registration in Ireland and is actively exploring the possibility of expanding business in other regions. Our ultimate commitment is to demonstrate to all clients in every jurisdiction we serve, that our suite of products and services is fully compliant and superior in terms of quality and pricing. As the crypto industry continues to gain traction worldwide and is on the verge of becoming mainstream, industry-wide efforts are required to implement robust consumer protection measures and rigorous compliance standards. • HashKey Capital is established, focusing on early-stage blockchain venture investments.

📆 2018

• HashKey Group officially launches as a digital asset financial services group.

📆 2019

• HashKey OTC launches to provide compliant over-the-counter trading services for institutional clients.

• HashKey Cloud begins offering secure infrastructure and node management services.

📆 2020

• HashKey Capital Limited receives Type 9 license from Hong Kong's SFC, authorizing it to manage assets involving virtual assets.

📆 2021.6

• Tokyo Hash registers with Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA), enabling it to legally offer crypto asset exchange services.

📆 2022

• HashKey Exchange obtains Type 1 & 7 licenses from Hong Kong’s SFC, authorizing it to conduct securities dealing and operate an automated trading platform.

• HashKey Capital Limited is granted an upgrade of its Type 9 license by the SFC, so as to manage portfolios comprised of up to 100% virtual assets in the special administrative region. HashKey Capital acquires the CMS license, as well, from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), enabling the distribution and management of virtual asset-related and capital market-based products in the city-state. 📆 2023

• HashKey Exchange officially goes live in Hong Kong, becoming one of the first licensed spot trading platforms for both retail and institutional users.

• HashKey Tokenisation launches to drive on-chain issuance of real-world assets.

• HashKey OTC receives a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license from MAS in Singapore, enabling it to offer digital payment token services. (12.19)

📆 2024

• HashKey Global is established to serve compliant trading needs of users in non-restricted jurisdictions. The same year, HashKey Global becomes licensed by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) as a Virtual Asset Exchange, supporting spot trading, futures, launchpool. (4.8)

• HSK, the ecosystem token of HashKey Group, is launched to enhance trading utility and community engagement. (11.26)

• HashKey OTC receives a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license from Singapore's MAS, enabling it to offer digital payment token (DPT) services. (12.19)

• HashKey Capital Limited receives a Type 4 license and an upgrade for its Type 9 license from Hong Kong's SFC, enabling it to provide regulated virtual asset investment advice, research, and management for both retail and professional investors. (5.13)

📆 2025

• HashKey MENA FZE receives approval from Dubai’s VARA, authorizing it to provide exchange and broker-dealer services in the Middle East. (1.13)

• HashKey Capital Limited receives an upgrade for its Type 9 license from Hong Kong's SFC, enabling discretionary virtual asset account management services for professional investors. A few weeks later, HashKey Capital obtains a Type 1 license from the SFC, as well, allowing it to provide brokerage services as well as market and distribute funds and structured products—including those related to virtual assets—to both retail and professional investors. • HashKey Europe Limited is granted Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registration approval from the Central Bank of Ireland, allowing the provision of a broad range of regulated digital asset services across the EU following the new MiCA framework.
